Obituary


Annice D. Evans Garrett, 79, of Fordsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday February 4, 2023, at her brother’s home. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Falls of Rough.  She lived in Franklin, Indiana with her husband for over forty years and worked several years at the Franklin Indiana City Parks Department, and then moved back to her home in Kentucky. Ann loved working outside in flowers and plants and loved her church family and going to church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jakie Garrett; her parents, James O. and Hazel Evans; brother, Douglas Evans; and sisters, Carol Pence and Freda Moxley.
     Survivors include a brother, Tony Evans of Falls of Rough; sister, Darlene Evans of Falls of Rough; stepson, Erron (Natalie) Garrett of Upland, California; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Macedonia Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
