Betty Payton, 85, of Fordsville, died Monday, May 27, 2024 at Ohio County Healthcare.
She was a homemaker and a member of Fordsville Methodist Church and Fordsville Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband Edison Doyle Payton; a son Tommy Payton: a daughter Debbie Mattingly; and granddaughter Jenna Peercy.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30th, 2024, at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial to follow in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
