Carol Hunt

Doris “Carol” Hunt, 95, of Georgetown, Kentucky passed away March 12, 2026 at her home. 

She was born June 3, 1930 to the late Paul and Rachel Walker. She was a member of Fordsville Baptist Church. Carol was a Registered Nurse and Air Force Veteran, attaining the rank of Second Lieutenant.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Hunt and sons Eddie and Bob Hunt.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Hunt of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren Adonya Boyle, Paul Hunt, Chris Hunt, and Mark Hunt; and 5 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, March 17 at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm to 7pm Monday and 10am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
