Darrell Wayne Adkins

Darrell Wayne Adkins, born on January 3, 1980, in Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Fordsville, Kentucky.

He was a beloved father to his two sons, Brayden and Crayson, who brought immense joy to his life.

Darrell was known for his passion for working on cars and taking on odd jobs for friends and family, often showcasing his remarkable skills in rebuilding and tinkering with various projects. His generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand endeared him to those around him.

He is survived by his big brother, David, and David’s wife Maggie, as well as his step-grandfather, William and his wife. Darrell’s love for his sons and his dedication to helping others will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Saturday, February 22nd at Fordsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses. Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville is in charge of arrangements.
