Ervin Burnette, 83, of Reynolds Station, died Friday, November 24, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  He was born in Rockvale to the late Isiah and Ada Mae Burnette.  Ervin was a timber cutter and farmer, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was of the Baptist faith.  He was preceded also in death by a daughter, Lisa Faye Nugent; grandson, Dustin Ray Nugent; brother, Mervel Burnett; and sister, Dorothy Willoughby Thurman.

     Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Barbara Burnette of Reynolds Station; sons, Jim (Kim)  Burnette of Owensboro, Danny (Bridget) Burnette of Reynolds Station and Shorty (Tammy) Burnette of Roff; sister, Vivian Fuqua of Falls of Rough; seven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Geary Funeral Home with burial in Macedonia Cemetery in Falls of Rough.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
