Galen Monroe Seaton, 84, of Fordsville, died Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Fordsville Nursing & Rehab.  He was a retired truck driver and a member of Zion Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha K. Seaton; his father, Russell Seaton; his mother and step-father who raised him, Ruby and Roscoe Rearden; daughter, Paula Eaton; brother, Eldred Rearden Sr.; and sister, Lena Mae Seaton.

     Survivors include his granddaughter, Michaela Billiter; sisters, Thelma Kincaid of Reynolds Station and Lois Rearden of Owensboro; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Rachel Sexton.

     Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at Geary Funeral Home, with burial in Fordsville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
