Joshua Tad Sutherland, 43, of Fordsville, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He had attended Ohio County High School, was a construction welder, and a member of Barnett's Creek Baptist Church in Hartford.

     He is survived by his wife Shawnee Young Sutherland of Fordsville; his parents Alvin Coy Sutherland of Owensboro and Cheryl Fitzgerald of Bowling Green; children, Trenton (Kamryn) Sutherland, Ashton Rose, Savannah Preston, Dakota Shultz, Dallas Shultz and Madison Coppage, all of Fordsville, Kylie Taylor of Hawesville and Damon Jones of Beaver Dam; sister, Dawn Sutherland (Robbie Galloway) of Owensboro; mother-in-law, Hilda Young of Owensboro; nine grandchildren; a niece and a nephew; and family and friends.

     Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Geary Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pattiville.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
