Judith Richards Obituary

Judith Ann “Judy” Richards, 76, of Hartford, died Sunday, March 10, 2024, at her home.  She was born in Hartford to the late James Lewis and Ova Rhoades.  She was a homemaker and a member of Dundee Baptist Church.  Judy dedicated her life to serving her family, friends and community.  She was preceded also in death by her husband, Bruce Allen Richards.

     Survivors include her children, Traci (Gene) McAdams of Shepherdsville, Troy (Kimberly) Richards of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Beth (Paul) Dawson of Baytown, Texas; eight grandchildren, Christan (Clayton) Brooks, Kathryn (Jordan) Netherland, David (Esther) Richards, Jonathan (Sarah) Richards, Marissa McAdams, Emily McAdams, Paul “Tripp” Dawson III, and Elliott Dawson; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Mischelle (Gary) West of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, at Fordsville Baptist Church with burial in Fordsville Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Geary Funeral Home and from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service Friday at the church.
