Linda Day Dennison, 80, of Whitesville, passed away March 11, 2025 at 8:36pm at her residence. 

She was born August 2, 1944 to the late Everett and Ova Hoover.  She worked for the Owensboro Board of Education as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed UK basketball, gardening, and watching hummingbirds.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, James Dennison; son Jeffery Dennison and daughter Dana Denise Dennison.

She is survived by her daughter Jamie (Mike) Hall; grandchildren Logan (Mitchelle) Mattingly and Aaron (Sydney) Sheehan; great-grandchildren Auri, Amzie and Atlas Mattingly.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial to follow in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am until service time at the funeral home.
