Margaret Eileen Fulkerson Obituary

Margaret Eileen Fulkerson, 85, of Magan, passed away February 15, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones. 


She was born March 7, 1940 to the late Albert and Anna Mae Goetz. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She was a dietitian at Fordsville Nursing and Rehabilitation for over 20 years.


Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David Lee Fulkerson; siblings Barbara Lashbrook, Herman Goetz, Loretta Johnston, and Marvin Goetz.


She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joe Lee Fulkerson; sons Craig (Markie) Fulkerson, PJ (Wanda) Fulkerson, and Jonathan (Rebecca) Fulkerson; grandchildren Magan, Caden, Ryan, David, and Elizabeth Fulkerson; sister Francis Gaddis, Linda Powers; brother Mike Goetz; and many nieces and nephews.


A funeral mass will be held at 10am Saturday, February 21st at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fordsville with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Magan. Visitation will be 3pm to 8pm Friday at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ohio County Hospice or Magan Cemetery.
