Martha Elaine Evans, 85, of Falls of Rough, KY passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at her residence. 

She was born April 3, 1940 to the late Ralph and Alliene Jones. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Martha was an artist who held many creative positions during her career, including work as an illustrator for the Department of Defense.

Martha’s life was blessed with great love. Her first love was her relationship with her savior Jesus Christ. Her second love was the artistry the Lord bestowed to her, which she used to minister both at home and abroad with Artistry for Jesus along with her partner in ministry Paula Kerr.

Along with her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her son Michael Evans.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Tony Evans of Falls of Rough; son Charles (Laura) Evans of Greenwood, IN; grandchildren Aj Evans, Rusty Rushton, Brian Fults and Hannah Fults; siblings Norman Jones, Louise Jones, Janet Jones, and Ralph Jones; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Falls of Rough with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10am to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Samaritans Purse International Disaster Relief Fund. Geary Funeral Home of Fordsville is in charge of arrangements.
