Pearly Mae Taylor

Pearly Mae Taylor, 85, of Beaver Dam, passed away April 25, 2025 at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehabilitation. 

She was born March 25, 1940 to the late Preston and Rosa Mae Finley.  She worked as a CNA at Fordsville Nursing Home for many years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Henry Taylor.

She is survived by her children Ricky James (Meredith) Taylor and Shelia Kay (Steve Allen) Godsey; grandchildren Samantha Lee Packwood, Jason Allen Godsey, Jesse James Taylor and Zachary Clarence Taylor; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 5pm Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville. The family will receive visitors from 2pm until service time at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Magan at a later date.
